en ارزیابی دانش و عملکرد کارکنان و دانشجویان اتاق عمل در پیشگیری از عفونت‌های محل جراحی Assessment of Knowledge and Performance of Operating Room Staff and Students in Preventing Surgical Site Infections عمومى General سابقه و هدف عفونت محل جراحی (SSI) یکی از شایع‌ترین عوارض پس از عمل است که موجب افزایش زمان بستری، هزینه‌های درمان و کاهش کیفیت زندگی بیماران می‌شود. دانش و عملکرد مناسب تیم جراحی در پایبندی به پروتکل‌های پیشگیری، نقش اساسی در کاهش بروز این عفونت دارد. این مطالعه با هدف ارزیابی دانش و عملکرد پرسنل اتاق عمل و دانشجویان تکنولوژی جراحی در پیشگیری از SSI انجام شد. مواد و روش ها این پژوهش توصیفی–تحلیلی مقطعی بر روی ۸۰ شرکت‌کننده (۶۵ پرسنل و ۱۵ دانشجو) در اتاق‌های عمل بیمارستان‌های وابسته به دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تربت‌حیدریه در سال 1403انجام گرفت. ابزار گردآوری داده‌ها پرسشنامه استاندارد و روایی‌سنجی‌شده شامل اطلاعات جمعیت‌شناختی، ۲۵ سؤال چندگزینه‌ای دانش و ۱۸ سؤال عملکرد خودگزارشی بر اساس مقیاس لیکرت بود. داده‌ها با آزمون‌های آماری توصیفی، t مستقل، کای‌دو و همبستگی پیرسون در نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخه ۲۶ تحلیل شدند. یافته ها نتایج نشان داد میانگین کلی نمره دانش ۵۵٫۶۰ ± ۱۲٫۱۰ و میانگین عملکرد ۶۳٫۹۰ ± ۸٫۷۰ بود که به‌ترتیب بیانگر سطح متوسط دانش و سطح متوسط رو به بالای عملکرد است. پرسنل در اقدامات فنی مانند پانسمان صحیح و استریل و آماده‌سازی پوست عملکرد بهتری داشتند، در حالی که دانشجویان در مهارت‌های پایه مانند ضدعفونی صحیح دست‌ها و تعویض ماسک/دستکش پیشتاز بودند. همبستگی دانش و عملکرد در کل نمونه (r=0.45, p<0.001) و به‌ویژه در پرسنل قوی‌تر بود. نتیجه گیری این یافته‌ها بر لزوم طراحی برنامه‌های آموزشی هدفمند برای تقویت دانش نظری در دانشجویان و به‌روزرسانی مهارت‌های پیشرفته در پرسنل تأکید دارد. استفاده از آموزش شبیه‌سازی‌شده، بازخورد فوری و ارزیابی ترکیبی می‌تواند به همگرایی دانش و عملکرد کمک کرده و در نهایت، به کاهش بروز SSI بینجامد Surgical site infection (SSI) is one of the most common postoperative complications, leading to prolonged hospitalization, increased healthcare costs, and reduced quality of life. The knowledge and performance of surgical teams in adhering to preventive protocols play a crucial role in reducing the incidence of these infections. This study aimed to assess the knowledge and performance of operating room staff and surgical technology students regarding the prevention of SSIs. This descriptive–analytical cross‑sectional study was conducted in 2024 with 80 participants (65 staff members and 15 students) working in the operating rooms of hospitals affiliated with Torbat Heydariyeh University of Medical Sciences, Iran. Data were collected using a validated standard questionnaire comprising demographic information, 25 multiple‑choice items on knowledge, and 18 self‑reported items on performance rated on a Likert scale. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t‑test, chi‑square, and Pearson correlation tests in SPSS version 26. The overall mean knowledge score was 55.60 ± 12.10, and the mean performance score was 63.90 ± 8.70, indicating a moderate level of knowledge and a moderately high level of performance. Staff demonstrated better performance in technical procedures such as sterile dressing and skin preparation. In contrast, students excelled in fundamental skills like proper hand disinfection and mask/glove replacement. Knowledge and performance were significantly correlated across the entire sample (r = 0.45, p < 0.001), particularly among staff members. The findings highlight the need for targeted educational initiatives to strengthen theoretical knowledge among students and update advanced technical skills among staff.
